Knitting

I tackled a new knitting project!  

I took a class, went to lots of knitting support groups, which is the best therapy... 

and months later I finished the sweaters.

Can hardly wait for fall and new class and more "knitting support group"

July Ranch Weekend

 Uncle Allen stopped by to show us dinosaur fossils.
They were found on the ranch land out by Leland Bench.

We had a relaxing weekend.

Played some fun games.

Domino's is a game I first learned at the ranch.

Played Ticket to Ride and Sam beat us all...

He is all about the strategy!

Baseball...

Nothing screams summer like a baseball game. 

The Bees games are always fun.

Check that off the summer bucket list!

Wagons West

Years ago we lived in Las Vegas and we celebrated Pioneer Day weekend by loading up our "Wagons"  and heading west to the beach to celebrate.

Those were great days.

Well this year we headed west for Wagons West.

We did fly.

Had a flight cancelled and a detour to Burbank instead of Orange County.

Nothing a Lyft ride can't fix.

We added a day at Disneyland for fun.

What a great weekend with great friends. 

For old times sake, we were right next to Lifeguard station 13.

Chick fil A for the easy dinner after the beach

and games are always in order.

A fun weekend we plan to make a tradition again!
