May - Biking to Goat Island

We rented some cute little bikes and took a ride out to Goat Island.

We didn't see any goats, but lots of boats and had a great time.

Catching up...Newport, Rhode Island in May!

We were heading to Boston for Katie's graduation.

In my quest to go to all 50 states, we decided to spend some time

in Newport, Rhode Island.

It was a fun place to vacation!

We had a delightful little picnic on the shore

 The kids and their cameras...

We headed off on the "Cliff Walk"  

It was a great trail on the back side of huge mansions.

We were lucky to have Sidney join us on this trip.

I am not sure which is more unsettling to a mother - 

seeing your child 

holding tigers, or jumping out of trams!

Sam is having the time of his life at his semester abroad.

In the mail today we got TWO letters from Riley

and all these fun Big Full-Color Pictures

That makes my day.

Love that boy!
