Just call me "Grammy"

c

Gwen decided to join the world 3 days after her due date.
We had been waiting for this day for a long time.

Of course Mike and I quickly flew back east.
The first morning after Gwen was home from the hospital
We all went back to the hospital for her bilirubin test.
She passed and had already gained weight.  She is a champ.
Katie and Jeremy are the cutest parents!

She is the cutest thing!

A Great Father's day for this new "grandpa"

All hands on deck!

I took just a few pictures of this precious addition to our family.
Now we are 7!
Woo Hoo!

Had a photo opp of different swaddles for her birth announcement.

This one won!  Look at that grin.

Gwen loves her daddy!

Since the gender was not revealed til birth, we had a bit of shopping to do!

The rocking knocked them both out.

Had to to go the Dairy Bar, it was the first day of summer!
It is a tradition!

Yes I took lots of pics...
She is so adorable!

We love her!

Oh a few more....

We even did a photo shoot of the new little family.
Katie got the camera ready on a tripod with all the settings set so I could just push the shutter.

Girls Weekend

Met Kristie and Darbie in St George for some fun.
I have no pictures of people, just our fun activities

Learned a new game... Kings in the Corner

Went to a chick flick... great movie but definitely need a tissue box.

Of course we played Five Crowns...

and Ranch Rummy

and treats!

We went to see a small town production of Steel Magnolias

then decided we had to watch the movie to see the differences.
Another lots of tissues event.

More games, laughing and lots of catching up.
It was a fabulous weekend!

Vermont

I had to take a quick trip to Vermont.
This cute "momma to be" picked me up at the airport!

We saw covered bridges...
one car at a time!

We went to the town Dairy Bar on "Opening Night" for the summer season.

I liked the sign in the window!

Went to a baby shower for Katie
and she got to wack a pinata
all by herself!

A few hits and she knocked the head off...

More covered bridges...

We saw the Bennington Battle Monument.
Not sure what happened there, but it was cool.

Katie and Jeremy are the best hosts!

It was so fun to see their little slice of the world.
We did some serious get ready for the baby shopping.

Next trip will be when the baby comes.
Woo Hoo!

Conference

General Conference is one of my favorite weekends.
It was another weekend with both boys home.
They bring so much noise and joy when together!
We did face time with Katie and Jeremy,
so a great weekend with family.

Sunny days and warm weather.

That is just the beginning of the weekend.
Hours of inspiration, great messages, and music.

It is hard to say what was my favorite,
so many wonderful thoughts!
