Merry Christmas!

MERRY CHRISTMAS! We hope you have had a wonderful year.  Here’s what we have been up to:
January- Riley set off on his mission to Thailand, or at least to Provo to learn some Thai.
February- Katie & Jeremy celebrated their 3 year wedding anniversary cross-country skiing in New Hampshire.  Mike and Barb enjoyed the Mexico sun on a weeklong cruse. Mike had a birthday.
March- Jeremy turned 26 and Barb also had a birthday. Barb was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis. Sam skied about every weekend.
April- Mike & Barb celebrated their 27 years of marriage and they are still very much in love. Riley flew off to Thailand.
May- Katie finished her first year of grad school and Sam finished his first year at BYU.  Barb went to Boston for a week to check out the city. We talked to Riley on Mother’s Day!
June- Jeremy finished his first year of Dental School.  Barb started quilting like a mad woman.
July- Sam turned 22.  Katie & Jeremy came to visit for three weeks- oh, the life of students! We spent some quality time at the ranch and went to the Heber Demolition Derby, always a favorite.  We also took Jeremy to his first rodeo.  He was very entertained.
August- We ventured to Yellowstone to see Old Faithful and lots of buffalo.  Riley turned 20.  The kids started school again.
September- Katie started her internship working with adults with eating disorders.  Mike, Barb, and Sam spent another weekend at the ranch.  Katie turned 24.
October- Barb & Mike went to Paris for a week.  Katie & Jeremy got called to serve in the Spanish branch and Katie doesn’t know any Spanish.
November- We spent Thanksgiving in Boston seeing the historical sites and had a fabulous time together.  Riley kept up the hard work in Thailand.
December- We are looking forward to talking to our favorite missionary on Christmas. We love celebrating Jesus Christ’s birth and the selfless life he lived.
May you all have a great year filled with lots of love and laughter!

Much LOVE- The  Family
(Mike, Barb, Katie, Jeremy, Sam, & Riley)

Town of Plymouth

Not really the huge rock we were expecting.
But a nice rock...

Mayflower II - A nice replica.
I have ten ancestors that came over on the Mayflower.

 William Bradford
My 9th Great Grandfather

 William Brewster
My 9th Great Grandfather
on a different line.

It was a cute small  town.  We had fun finding our roots!

1st Day in Boston - Plimouth Plantation

We started with breakfast at Tumble Inn Diner and then headed to Plimoth Plantation.

We loved Plimouth Plantation.  They had an Indian and a Pilgrim Village.  It is a fabulous living history museum.
It was a perfect outing the day before Thanksgiving.

Sam wanted a treat from the gift shop..."a souvenir", he requested...
some fudge.. we enjoyed!
