Catching up...

Katie came to visit for a week.
I don't really have any pictures...
She did lots of fun things with the boys.

She even did a few chores.
We love to have her around.

My computer at work started on fire.

Mike and My dad for father's day.

Riley and buddies were frantically prepping for their EFY counselor jobs.
They had to complete an online course and were working till the final minute.

For the 4th of July we started out with breakfast at Criddle's

Darbie and Kristie were in town and we headed to Snow Basin after a few games.

Darbie and Kristie hiked, Sam and Mike biked.

I took a good book and enjoyed nature.

We played a few more games, and watched the fireworks out the back door.
We have lots of neighbors that do "big fireworks"

We had a big discussion on "Freedom" and all day joked about
doing what we wanted.
I went to see my dad and saw this sign in the elevator.
It put it all in perspective.

We are very blessed to live in a free country!

Grateful for the freedom of Religion and the opportunity to go to the Temple.

...of course we have had lots of visits from the neighbors.
They adore Sam!

St Petersburg, Round 2

We were off the ship early and had one last day of St. Petersburg.
A morning of touring before we went to the airport.

The Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood

Mike was so excited to see this Airstream
His dream for touring...

Katie and Riley sporting their Russian attire.

Another Cathedral with another name and another story.

We were so grateful to get to the airport and on the plane with no mishaps.
We spent a night in Boston and then home again, home again with lots of memories.

Cruisin with the Kids!

Boarding the ship.
Yes we are a bit jet lagged.

It was a bit chilly.
Towels for blankets

Katie loved the "Princess Patter"
She marked it all up for what activities we needed to do.

Princess Live.
These kiddies loved the activities there.
They were even on TV.

Sunset and sunrise's were gorgeous.

They loved the Pizza!

Games nights.
We stuck to just two games.

Best place to play was the buffet.
Always a few desserts to sample.

Cover you Assets
A crazy game that is hard to win!

Katie and her Princess Patter...

They started out watching a movie...

Soon they were all napping!

Another game night... Five Crowns today!

The family mascot is a bear!

The boys showing us the art from the auction.
We now have this hanging on our wall.

Luckily we were out bid on these two.
They were close to being in our collection.
For Riley's auction story click here.

If you go on a cruise you need pics on the stairs!

It was a delight to have our family on this cruise!
They liked the cruise more than I thought they would.
We celebrated 30 years of marriage and having wonderful children...
