4th of July weekend

Darbie and Kristie came for the weekend.
Saturday the boys went off riding motorcycles,
the girls went to the Farmer's market.

We always get in some game playing.
We played ranch rummy and played till we all won.
It was a superb weekend for games.

Tried a new restaurant for Breakfast on Monday.
It was yummy.

Nothing better than a baseball game and hot dogs.
Even if it was in the high 90's.

They have this group of older women who were quite the cheer squad.
Something I can aspire to.

The morning of the 4th the boys set off for a bike ride at Snow Basin.

It was a very HOT day.
We decided to go to a movie to escape the heat.
Now that we have seen this movie, you don't need to bother.
It was not that good.

We did find a Habit grill by the theater and that was tasty.

We have so many neighbors that do big fireworks it is great,
we just watch from the back yard.

A fun weekend with friends and family.

I am thankful to live in this country for the freedoms and the opportunities that we have.

4th of July Weekend

We headed to the ranch for the 4th of July Weekend.
We fly the flag and are grateful for our Freedom!
We truly are blessed.

Then we play...
The boys loaded up the bikes and went to ride up some mountain.

I enjoyed a quiet morning on the deck and read.
I took a nap and then I read some more.

I had a great view.

There is a tiny bird nest in the rafters of the deck.
I listened to the baby birds squawk and watched the mother bird bring them food.
I thought of Mothers and how we care for and nurture our children.
All my babies are now adult, but I still  mother them.
I am grateful to be their mother.
My children are my life and I sure love them.

The boys had to shoot, they set up their targets.
We love toys!
Riley went back to Provo that night.

He came back with a load of friends.
They went to explore Wildcat in the Rhino's

 That was exhausting.
They went to "watch some World Cup"
They had a nice nap.

Then we had to get the guns out again...

Checking to see if they were good shots..

Good fun group of friends

The love of my life!

Always fun to be with family!

Getting ready for another rhino ride...

 It was a bit dusty.

At the ranch we always seem to be feeding the masses.
We haul a lot of food and drinks out.
But a fabulous place for us to be together.
To be with Friends and family.
We are grateful to Moroni Alma for homesteading the land.

Happy Thanksgiving!

"I have found that, rather than dwelling on the negative, if we will
take a step back and consider the blessings in our lives, including
seemingly small, sometimes overlooked blessings, we can find
greater happiness." -Thomas S. Monson

Catching up - Labor Day Weekend

We started the day off with breakfast.
Last time we were at this same table was the day we took Sam to the MTC.

We went and explored Sundance.

then had to have shaved ice...

Sunday we took a walk after Church... thought Sam looked cute by the available sign...

Monday we headed to Park City.
We seemed to spend alot of time at ski resorts...

We were glad to have cousins Nicholas and Addison with us.

We happened to hit a great sale and Sam got some new ski's - He is a happy boy!
