Biking in Yellowstone

We went on a little road trip to Yellowstone....1894 miles worth of road trip in five days. Mike has had a dream of riding his bike through Yellowstone and staying at the lodges. We decided this was the year to do it. We had to go before Memorial day and all the RV traffic, so Riley had to miss a few days of schoool. The boys had a great time, and I did a lot of reading and knitting.

knitting...

It has been years since I have knit, so I found a fun little class to relearn. I was encouraged when I got to the class yesterday and a 90 year old woman Elsie was there. It was fun and as I reported to Katie I a going to be a "Knitter" so just watch out.

The Weekend

A quick trip to see my parents.

and cousin Scotty's Homecoming

and a stop by Katie & Jeremy's on the way up and down...
These cute boys along for the ride.
All makes a good weekend.

Easter Morning...

We have a fun tradition where they follow string to their Easter Basket. As the kids are bigger, Mike has to make it more of a challenge... the string goes outside around the house, sending the boys on a wild chase... Holidays are Fun and Life is Good.

The Egg Hunt..

I know the boys are a bit big for a hunt, but it is a tradition
and they humor their mother.
Luckily Cade, Clare and Chloe love to come to Great Aunt Barb's for a hunt.

Conference Weekend

Conference Weekend was nice and relaxing. I love to be out of town, it always makes it easier to just sit and enjoy conference with less interruptions. We did find time for a few crafts of course, Katie was there. It is always fun to be with family.

It is hard to believe last conference weekend I was flying to Vienna to be with Katie.
My oh time flies...it has been a busy six months but a good six months.
