Last Day in Boston together...

 The battle green at Lexington
This is where the shot heard around the world was fired April 19, 1775.

Concord -
This is the bridge where the rebels had their first victory over the regulars in the revolutionary war.

Simmons College - We had to go see where Katie goes to school!

Then we dropped Mike & Sam off at the airport.
I stayed a  bit longer for Katie to have surgery.

Here is cute Katie with her water and drugs when we
finally ventured out after her surgery!

It was a wonderful time in Boston,
being together with family is always good!

Another day of adventure!

We had a tour of Jeremy's school and saw all his fun tools!

The next stop had to be Dunkin' Donuts
We were sooo cold!
The hot chocolate was tasty.

Next stop:
Boston Public Library, loved it!

It was sooo cold and we are wimps
so we went on a "Duck Tour"
they are inside heated vehicles!

Ended the day at Quincy Market
and a nice warm dinner!
We were grateful the other days were so much warmer as we wandered the town.

Freedom Trail Day 2

We found Paul Revere's House!

We found the Old North Church
where they hung the lanterns!
We wondered thru the North End and found Mike's Pastry's!

We found the Bunker Hill Monument!

We walked for miles in fun neighborhoods...

We rode the ferry back and loved the sun setting...

On our way back to the hotel,
we timed it perfect for Macy's tree lighting!
 We had a fun day!
