Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays.
Always a long weekend of food and family.

This year we had a white Thanksgiving.

It makes my day when all the kiddies are home!
They are the JOY of my life.

We had plans to go see the Mockingjay Part 2 on Thanksgiving
so we prepped with watching the first again.

We started the morning with adding leaves to "Our Thankful Tree"

We had our traditional breakfast.
Pumpkin waffles.

Sam's neighborhood friends (fan club) joined us for Breakfast

Headed to movie time.

We have a great family tradition of eating out for Thanksgiving.
I told the kids when we are 15 or more I will start cooking Thanksgiving  dinner.
That is a lot of spouses and kids to add...

Game Time

The game of the day was "Cover Your Assets".

Friday we did venture out in the cold.
Had lunch with my dad and a nice visit.

Stopped by the kids favorite toy store from their childhood.
Fouind a few things we needed.

Talked of Gratitude and the many blessings in our life.

Added a few more leaves...

Found a puzzle at the toy store.  1000 Piece that is bigger than we have braved before.

We had some pumpkin pancakes for breakfast every day.
They were delicious.

Back in October I got a text of this pic with:

This morning's excitement!!

That was exciting!  Made my year!

The boys went to a boy movie and the girls went shopping.
Had to get a few things for the baby.
Katie does not want to find out the gender.
So gender neutral shopping it was.
Jeremy wants to find out the gender.
We will see who wins out!

More pumpkin pancakes...

Finished the puzzle!

So time for a Monopoly game.

We filled the "Thankful Tree"
We had a wonderful weekend.
Didn't do much.
Just enjoyed the time together.
Love my family!
